Prospect Farms is a progressive training and teaching facility for the serious or recreational rider. It offers instruction, boarding, training, and sales. We also offer camps for adults and young riders, clinics, educational videos, and trail rides (currently as part of their lesson only). Advanced students participate in horse shows and clinics in our region.
Our students include both young riders and adult riders, experienced and beginners, working in private, semi-private, or group sessions. Riders' skill levels vary from recreational rider to horse show enthusiast. The horses range in size and ability from ponies for the very young riders to 17-hand dressage horses or jumpers. Breeds include Thoroughbred/Trakehner crosses, Arabians, Quarter Horses, Thoroughbreds, Saddlebreds, Paints and Pintos.
Service description:
Provide riding instruction for all ages and riding ability in order to achieve riders' ultimate goals. There are four major areas that we focus on: Dressage, Jumping, Western riding/games/barrel racing, Recreational riding. Prospect Farms is unique in that it offers different styles of riding at the same facility. I have lived in different parts of the country and have done extensive riding in each of these fields. The farm logo expresses my philosophy, that is, riders learn to ride in harmony with their horses regardless of the specific style chosen.
